I found out that my flat iron is perfect for bringing this tired, wrinkled ribbon back to life. 
Just a few seconds thru the flat iron and ta-da . Refreshed ribbon!!! Just thought I'd pass on this recycling tip.
See my shiny, happy ribbon!!!!! Now to find a project to use them in, hhhmmmm................

You're a true mixed media artist ... recycling and reusing. I also love your travel journal which might be calling for a bit of this salvaged ribbon.
That's a great little tip! Most of the ribbon I have is just like what you've shown....all wrinkled and crinkled.

Thanks so much for the kind words on my blog. You asked about the paper I used to cover the journal...I know if this little Japanese Book Store in Palisaides Plaza in NY. Anytime I go there I stop by to see what they have in Japanese papers. I love them because they have a cotton feel to them. You can buy them by the roll.
I just also discovered The Paper Source. I've been buying oversized papers there too.
