A Doodle

This is one of my many doodles. I enjoy doing these. They can be satisfying when I'm not able to do other kinds of creating. There are a couple ways that I like to use to start. If I have a phrase or a word, I write that down anywhere on the page and in any style. Then I make one continuous squiggle around the words. If I don't have a phrase then I just do the squiggle. Then fill in with any design that comes to mind.
I find that the style of my doodles changes with my mood. The darker the mood the more angular the design. The lighter the mood the more swirly the design.

Thank You !!!!

I would like to thank everyone who left comments for me!!! I smiled and got a sense of happiness as I read each one. I appreciate your input!! I often visit others blogs, some on a daily basis. I now know the importance of leaving a comment! Do others feel this way? Or is it because I am new to blog land? Anyway THANKS !!!

The Final Group

Ffeewww, finally done with the 24 twinchies (on a side note, my husband asked me what the heck is twin cheese!!)
These are: Gift myself, gift I was born with, of forgiveness, The Gift of..., of prayer, admired/remembered, of happiness, of kindness, of service.
Now to find out what Kathryn has planned next for us to do with these!!!

A Different Style

I recently "discovered" the art of Teesha Moore. I am so captivated with it. The more you look at a page, the more you see. I have her blog listed on the blogs I follow. This is the begining of my first attempt. I am finding that this is fun & very playful. I like to "try on" different styles and then do my own thing with them. Kind of like shoes!!

More twinchies!!

Yes, more twinchies. There will be 1 more group and then I'll be done with this part of Gifts and Gratitude. These are, from the top to bottom: Gifts from other artists, from childhood, from nature, of time, of friendship, of prosperity, Peace, of lessons learned, of faith.

These are my first ever twinchies. I am used to working on much larger backgrounds. It was a creative challange for me. It took some time and some great advice from the folks on . I finally got my brain wrapped around the small canvas. I am following along the journey that the is working on.
