Spring Skinny Book

These are my Spring pages for the skinny book swap at arttechniques, a yahoo group.
They were fun to do. I used watercolor paper, the green square is a textured paper, the flower is made from magazine pictures with a button for the center of the flower.
I am trying to keep the upcycle-reduce-reuse theme in as much of my art as possible. As a personal challenge as well as for financial necessity.

Very nice skinny page!

I couldn't find an email address to write to you so I'm sending a note here on your comments..YES, isn't that awsome about Where The Wild Things Are? I can't wait!
And did you see I added myself to your following list...I just discovered this feature, actually I'm just figuring out how to use it! I learn slow but I do learn! HA...
Have a great hair day! Becci

Laura Kay, I really admire you for the recycling art goals. I try to also. I relate to your art so much I think cuz you and I both like to be originals. ;-) I know I even try to copy occasionally and it STILL ends up all mine. {Sigh}

Anyway, in honor of this, I have given you an award. Come over to pick it up at
My Paper Paisleys art blog

xoxo,
